To honor the legendary Hall of Fame Broadcaster Chick Hearn, the Los Angeles Lakers, Marge Hearn, and hundreds of fans, have contributed to the Chick Hearn Memorial Scholarship Fund, which supports two deserving Broadcast Journalism students at the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism.

In honor of Chick and to recognize the students, the Lakers invite the two recipients and their families to the game closest to Chick's birthday to watch warm-ups, meet the Lakers broadcast team, be interviewed, and celebrated with a halftime presentation.
